Daily rate or monthly pass?
At $5/day uncovered, 7 billable days cost $38.97 and 14 billable days cost $76.86; covered, the same stays are $54.13 and $107.17. Every total includes the $1 fee charged once per stay and 8.25% sales tax, collected at the lot. Check your dates for your billable days and total.
For most trips, the daily rate wins. Ten days away costs $50 uncovered before tax and the per-stay fee – no pass to manage, nothing to cancel when you get home.
Comparing base rates, the tipping point is 20 days uncovered and 15 days covered – the pass costs the same either way, so it pays off sooner if you park covered. Past that, the $100 monthly pass is the cheaper option: 30 days comes to $150 uncovered or $210 covered, so a full month on the pass saves you $50 or $110 and works out to as low as $3.33/day.
